King Allegations To Believe Or Not Believe

The life story of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., a vital Civil Rights leader, is made complicated by claims made during FBI spying led by J. Edgar Hoover, who wanted to hurt King's reputation.
The main claims are:
- Affairs Outside of Marriage: The FBI secretly recorded and kept records of many alleged affairs, sometimes using these records to try and pressure King. While people argue about how true the records are, historians admit it's hard to tell the facts from the government's strong effort to ruin his standing.
- Copying Others' Work (Plagiarism): After his death, studies found that King used parts of others' writing in his PhD paper for Boston University and other schoolwork without giving proper credit.
When you look at these claims, it's important to remember that the FBI was biased, as they actively tried to bring King down. The main discussion is still whether his alleged personal mistakes take away from King's huge and crucial work for fairness and equality in modern American society. Historical figures, including King, are complex—they are not completely good or completely bad.

00:00:00.400 --> 00:00:03.700
what's going on everybody not just music podcast
00:00:03.700 --> 00:00:11.880
in the building monday yep jitters are gone it's
00:00:11.880 --> 00:00:16.199
evening time so all of this out the way what's
00:00:16.199 --> 00:00:18.160
good with the day man how's everything how's
00:00:18.160 --> 00:00:22.839
the weekend oh man everything's good on my end
00:00:22.839 --> 00:00:27.219
man um just crazy situations with the air deal
00:00:28.199 --> 00:00:30.760
County schools down here I got a problem with,
00:00:30.859 --> 00:00:34.619
man. But other than that, you know, things have
00:00:34.619 --> 00:00:38.240
been chill, been great. You mean you said Iredell
00:00:38.240 --> 00:00:44.820
County? Yeah, man. Statesville High School, the
00:00:44.820 --> 00:00:49.219
high school that I attended, this morning at
00:00:49.219 --> 00:00:52.179
approximately 8 a .m., a bomb threat was reported
00:00:52.179 --> 00:00:56.079
at Statesville High School. Out of abundance
00:00:56.079 --> 00:00:58.939
of caution, both Crossroads Early College and
00:00:58.939 --> 00:01:02.100
Statesville High Schools were evacuated. The
00:01:02.100 --> 00:01:04.239
Statesville Police Department and Iredell County
00:01:04.239 --> 00:01:07.879
Sheriff's Office have cleared the building. Both
00:01:07.879 --> 00:01:09.959
Statesville High School and Crossroads Early
00:01:09.959 --> 00:01:12.579
Colleges will now run on a two -hour delay schedule.
00:01:13.040 --> 00:01:15.439
If parents wish to pick up their students, they
00:01:15.439 --> 00:01:17.760
will need to come into the school to sign the
00:01:17.760 --> 00:01:20.420
students out. We appreciate the partnership of
00:01:20.420 --> 00:01:22.560
our law enforcement agencies. Our state schools
00:01:22.560 --> 00:01:25.140
remain committed to the safety of our students
00:01:25.140 --> 00:01:31.420
and staff. OK, after I say that, let me say they
00:01:31.420 --> 00:01:35.939
informed the parents two hours later after this
00:01:35.939 --> 00:01:42.459
quote unquote bomb threat. Also, they did an
00:01:42.459 --> 00:01:46.719
investigation, found out. that it wasn't even
00:01:46.719 --> 00:01:50.540
a bomb. It was no weapons or anything in the
00:01:50.540 --> 00:01:55.040
school. Lastly, they tried to change the narrative
00:01:55.040 --> 00:01:58.180
to make it say they was having a pelt rally.
00:01:58.439 --> 00:02:02.079
That's why all the kids got evacuated. They tried
00:02:02.079 --> 00:02:05.319
to cover it up. So I say all this to say, man,
00:02:05.400 --> 00:02:08.719
these school systems, man, we got to do better,
00:02:08.819 --> 00:02:12.400
man. I know we talk a lot about education, but
00:02:12.400 --> 00:02:17.840
we got to do better. And kids have already missed
00:02:17.840 --> 00:02:22.800
tons of school this year due to, like, a little
00:02:22.800 --> 00:02:25.800
bit of snow. You know, it's cleared up. Oh, it's
00:02:25.800 --> 00:02:27.319
a little bit of this and that. And I understand
00:02:27.319 --> 00:02:31.419
safety, but we talk about our age. You know,
00:02:31.460 --> 00:02:34.240
we was made to go to school in certain situations.
00:02:34.319 --> 00:02:37.539
And, like, if it was a little bit of something
00:02:37.539 --> 00:02:40.139
on the road, they weren't canceling no school.
00:02:40.479 --> 00:02:42.400
You know what I'm saying? And I just feel like
00:02:42.400 --> 00:02:47.139
nowadays, man. kids just got it easy kids got
00:02:47.139 --> 00:02:50.879
a little easy man and it's showing in the uh
00:02:50.879 --> 00:02:54.800
educational system and i think teachers are not
00:02:54.800 --> 00:02:59.199
really taking their jobs as serious uh and i
00:02:59.199 --> 00:03:01.939
think it just needs to improve man you know you
00:03:01.939 --> 00:03:05.400
you see all these kids getting in a lot of uh
00:03:05.400 --> 00:03:09.240
illegal activities and doing things and i feel
00:03:09.240 --> 00:03:13.000
like it's just because the people in charge have
00:03:14.590 --> 00:03:18.370
um kind of lost control of the situation in the
00:03:18.370 --> 00:03:23.370
narrative man i just want to throw that out in
00:03:23.370 --> 00:03:27.250
there because it it was some news today and i
00:03:27.250 --> 00:03:29.909
just see a lot of stuff going on you know i'm
00:03:29.909 --> 00:03:32.909
saying in the in the school system and it was
00:03:32.909 --> 00:03:34.710
actually going to lead into what when we dive
00:03:34.710 --> 00:03:36.870
into the conversation what i want to talk about
00:03:36.870 --> 00:03:40.849
also but Go ahead, bro. I mean, what you want
00:03:40.849 --> 00:03:42.810
to talk about? I mean, you already talked. Okay.
00:03:43.930 --> 00:03:46.030
Well, basically, you know, we talk about the
00:03:46.030 --> 00:03:50.530
education, how we say the schools pretty much
00:03:50.530 --> 00:03:54.430
misinformed us about a lot of our history and
00:03:54.430 --> 00:03:57.150
left out the key things that we've done. And
00:03:57.150 --> 00:04:02.569
I totally agree. And one thing that I never considered,
00:04:02.810 --> 00:04:09.639
well, really. like thought about was once i started
00:04:09.639 --> 00:04:13.360
investigating you know certain uh civil right
00:04:13.360 --> 00:04:16.959
leaders you know are great men and women that
00:04:16.959 --> 00:04:21.100
we're all human let me put that out there first
00:04:21.100 --> 00:04:23.439
we're all human we're bound to make mistakes
00:04:23.439 --> 00:04:28.360
this is no form of bashing or anything this is
00:04:28.360 --> 00:04:31.699
going all into my point i'm just trying to open
00:04:31.699 --> 00:04:34.300
up the listeners ears and thoughts and minds
00:04:34.939 --> 00:04:39.779
But, you know, it's a lot of stuff that. What
00:04:39.779 --> 00:04:42.379
negative, you know, some negative things about
00:04:42.379 --> 00:04:46.040
some of these activists that teachers didn't
00:04:46.040 --> 00:04:49.819
even tell that part. So I kind of gain a respect
00:04:49.819 --> 00:04:54.879
on that end because. And I'm in a world where
00:04:54.879 --> 00:04:58.279
it's easy to take black people and make black
00:04:58.279 --> 00:05:01.720
people look so horrific and, you know, tarnish
00:05:01.720 --> 00:05:05.980
our name how it is today. It amazes me that they
00:05:05.980 --> 00:05:09.199
wouldn't even brought these things up. You know,
00:05:09.199 --> 00:05:11.980
some of the misfortunes of these are leaders.
00:05:12.480 --> 00:05:14.560
And that's and that's great. You know what I'm
00:05:14.560 --> 00:05:18.759
saying? And I just feel like, you know, it's
00:05:18.759 --> 00:05:21.620
a lot of things that, you know, kind of you have
00:05:21.620 --> 00:05:27.360
to go back and look into. For example, the great
00:05:27.360 --> 00:05:32.379
Martin Luther King Jr. You know, he it was. documents
00:05:32.379 --> 00:05:35.759
fbi documents people don't feel people fail to
00:05:35.759 --> 00:05:39.459
realize um fbi was heavy on martin luther king
00:05:39.459 --> 00:05:44.060
the fbi was like heavily investigating him wiretapping
00:05:44.060 --> 00:05:48.720
his phones his hotel rooms y 'all gotta go back
00:05:48.720 --> 00:05:51.600
and look at the history like research but he
00:05:51.600 --> 00:05:57.009
was heavily watched by the fbi and I want to
00:05:57.009 --> 00:06:00.449
read some stuff. The FBI surveillance of Martin
00:06:00.449 --> 00:06:04.189
Luther King. The FBI bugged King's hotel rooms
00:06:04.189 --> 00:06:07.689
and tapped his phones to gather evidence of his
00:06:07.689 --> 00:06:11.970
sexual relationships. Records and accounts indicate
00:06:11.970 --> 00:06:14.230
King was involved with several women outside
00:06:14.230 --> 00:06:16.649
his marriage to Coretta Scott King, with reports
00:06:16.649 --> 00:06:19.170
suggesting affairs with at least four women.
00:06:26.479 --> 00:06:30.000
Complication of his affairs to King, calling
00:06:30.000 --> 00:06:34.199
him a evil, abnormal beast and urging him to
00:06:34.199 --> 00:06:36.879
commit suicide before his actions were exposed.
00:06:37.860 --> 00:06:40.279
Y 'all hear that? They was they was really trying
00:06:40.279 --> 00:06:45.220
to get this man to kill himself. You know. Impact
00:06:45.220 --> 00:06:48.699
in context, while some in his inner circle and
00:06:48.699 --> 00:06:52.670
scholars have acknowledged his infidelity. The
00:06:52.670 --> 00:06:57.250
focus of historians is often on the FBI's illegal,
00:06:57.569 --> 00:07:01.569
intense harassment, rather just the personal
00:07:01.569 --> 00:07:07.029
indiscretions. Despite knowing about her husband's
00:07:07.029 --> 00:07:09.069
unfaithfulness, Coretta Scott King reportedly
00:07:09.069 --> 00:07:12.949
chose to focus on their marriage and his public
00:07:12.949 --> 00:07:16.310
legacy, viewing the relationship as very good
00:07:16.310 --> 00:07:18.649
until the end. So she stayed down with her man.
00:07:21.480 --> 00:07:26.279
and back then you know it was more like forgiveness
00:07:26.279 --> 00:07:29.480
and it was more togetherness like people fought
00:07:29.480 --> 00:07:32.639
through things other than rather today you know
00:07:32.639 --> 00:07:35.800
people break up over small things you know um
00:07:35.800 --> 00:07:44.019
it's a little history on that and just uh marlon
00:07:44.019 --> 00:07:49.160
king was a preacher he was uh in the church so
00:07:49.790 --> 00:07:53.430
His position on homosexuality is while proponent
00:07:53.430 --> 00:07:56.509
of equality of black Americans, King held views
00:07:56.509 --> 00:08:00.509
on homosexuality that were considered consenting
00:08:00.509 --> 00:08:04.089
by modern standards. He believed it was a cultural
00:08:04.089 --> 00:08:08.290
or acquired tendency rather than in it and that
00:08:08.290 --> 00:08:14.910
it could be cured. And also one of the most horrific
00:08:14.910 --> 00:08:21.310
ones, I ended with this. is where they say some
00:08:21.310 --> 00:08:26.810
biographers, including David Garreau, have alleged
00:08:26.810 --> 00:08:30.829
based on FBI files that King watched a woman
00:08:30.829 --> 00:08:34.350
being raped and did not intervene. Though these
00:08:34.350 --> 00:08:37.509
claims is considered controversy and for some
00:08:37.509 --> 00:08:41.509
part of the FBI's campaign to ruin his reputation.
00:08:41.610 --> 00:08:44.649
I want to throw this part in is crucial. It is
00:08:44.649 --> 00:08:47.269
important to note. that these actions are often
00:08:47.269 --> 00:08:49.750
discussed in the context of a smear campaign
00:08:49.750 --> 00:08:55.330
by the FBI under J. Edgar Hoover, which wiretapped
00:08:55.330 --> 00:08:57.429
his rooms, recorded his private life, and attempted
00:08:57.429 --> 00:09:00.389
to blackmail him into suicide, which I said before.
00:09:01.350 --> 00:09:06.590
So I just wanted to talk about the history of
00:09:06.590 --> 00:09:12.129
that, and I wanted to ask you a question. Considering
00:09:12.129 --> 00:09:19.149
all that I read, And the history, you know, the
00:09:19.149 --> 00:09:22.730
school system's not telling us a lot of stuff
00:09:22.730 --> 00:09:26.870
and you going to research it. Considering back
00:09:26.870 --> 00:09:29.669
then, like where it was more private, you know,
00:09:29.669 --> 00:09:35.730
it wasn't technology driven like it is now. How
00:09:35.730 --> 00:09:41.789
do you think Martin would have adapted to today's
00:09:41.789 --> 00:09:45.730
time? Like saying that. Not saying these are
00:09:45.730 --> 00:09:48.429
all allegedly. I'm going to be going to put it
00:09:48.429 --> 00:09:52.370
like that. But saying if he was living this lifestyle
00:09:52.370 --> 00:09:56.110
behind closed doors, do you think he could have
00:09:56.110 --> 00:10:00.230
been the same Martin and today the effect of
00:10:00.230 --> 00:10:08.570
Martin today as he was back then? Yes. For one.
00:10:11.340 --> 00:10:20.139
It's never the personal life that's graded in
00:10:20.139 --> 00:10:24.000
the first place. I mean, nobody was judging him
00:10:24.000 --> 00:10:29.840
for his personal life due to him being in a pastoral
00:10:29.840 --> 00:10:39.320
role. There's a lot of stories that are in an
00:10:39.320 --> 00:10:45.169
alleged... manner against him um let's be honest
00:10:45.169 --> 00:10:50.029
let's look at let's look at the movement one
00:10:50.029 --> 00:10:55.570
black individual had created at that time and
00:10:55.570 --> 00:11:01.389
no a school is not going to talk about the eliteness
00:11:01.389 --> 00:11:06.139
of what a black man or a black woman is going
00:11:06.139 --> 00:11:10.659
to be looked at as highly powerful in the sense
00:11:10.659 --> 00:11:12.500
of if they show it they're only going to show
00:11:12.500 --> 00:11:15.500
the i have a dream speech or they're going to
00:11:15.500 --> 00:11:17.600
talk about the march that's it they're not going
00:11:17.600 --> 00:11:22.139
to talk about the the ups and downs of his life
00:11:22.139 --> 00:11:24.659
and you know getting all of the raggedy details
00:11:24.659 --> 00:11:28.399
and dig and dig and dig and dig and dig and try
00:11:28.399 --> 00:11:31.450
to find some type of dirt So they don't even
00:11:31.450 --> 00:11:33.549
get that deep in college. You being a college
00:11:33.549 --> 00:11:36.129
graduate. What the, no, what they, what was the
00:11:36.129 --> 00:11:39.090
things that you learn? When, one of the biggest
00:11:39.090 --> 00:11:42.850
things that I learned from being in college was
00:11:42.850 --> 00:11:45.210
learning how to research and learning how to
00:11:45.210 --> 00:11:48.990
research the correct way and researching on platforms
00:11:48.990 --> 00:11:53.009
that are worthy versus just saying, I'm going
00:11:53.009 --> 00:11:55.090
to get on Google and just search things, search
00:11:55.090 --> 00:11:58.289
things through Google. Google is a nice platform,
00:11:58.350 --> 00:12:02.889
but. In college, Google is not considered a worthy
00:12:02.889 --> 00:12:06.350
platform to search for. You had to use a certain
00:12:06.350 --> 00:12:09.070
platform. I'm not going to say it on here because
00:12:09.070 --> 00:12:13.210
in some situations it's considered private. But
00:12:13.210 --> 00:12:16.710
there's a platform that you can access to see
00:12:16.710 --> 00:12:19.929
files. Now, one of the biggest things that I
00:12:19.929 --> 00:12:29.149
uncover about, especially Keene, the FBI. What
00:12:29.149 --> 00:12:32.769
a lot of people didn't know about the FBI at
00:12:32.769 --> 00:12:34.970
that time, the FBI at that time was very sneaky.
00:12:36.570 --> 00:12:41.769
They were conniving. They would try to, any situation
00:12:41.769 --> 00:12:47.950
of a Negro trying to start movements, they'd
00:12:47.950 --> 00:12:50.789
try to create dirt on them, throw dirt on their
00:12:50.789 --> 00:12:54.950
name, try to amp up anything possible to make
00:12:54.950 --> 00:12:57.110
it seem as if they're doing something so bad
00:12:57.110 --> 00:13:02.200
off. to try to create, you know, separation in
00:13:02.200 --> 00:13:04.679
the black community because they knew he had
00:13:04.679 --> 00:13:07.799
that much power. So we're going to try to, you
00:13:07.799 --> 00:13:09.440
know, throw things off. We're going to throw
00:13:09.440 --> 00:13:12.559
these, you know, situations out there that he's
00:13:12.559 --> 00:13:14.899
doing, you know, we're going to tap his phone,
00:13:15.080 --> 00:13:16.679
you know, we're going to do all of this stuff.
00:13:17.120 --> 00:13:22.860
And considering that at that time, most of the
00:13:22.860 --> 00:13:28.269
stuff they said and wanted to leave in, in the
00:13:28.269 --> 00:13:30.210
limbo's of saying that they don't know if it's
00:13:30.210 --> 00:13:33.230
true or not what they would do is they just leave
00:13:33.230 --> 00:13:37.649
that out of history they don't want to put they
00:13:37.649 --> 00:13:39.850
want to give us they'll give us the parts that
00:13:39.850 --> 00:13:43.950
are considered yeah we know he did this march
00:13:43.950 --> 00:13:47.610
on this day yes we know he had this speech on
00:13:47.610 --> 00:13:52.629
this day yeah we know he died on this day on
00:13:52.629 --> 00:13:57.799
this at this hotel on this balcony we have those
00:13:57.799 --> 00:14:01.860
as solidification but anything that was of an
00:14:01.860 --> 00:14:05.539
alleged manner i noticed within anything they
00:14:05.539 --> 00:14:08.460
don't want to ever put that out there because
00:14:08.460 --> 00:14:10.419
they don't even know if it's true or not they
00:14:10.419 --> 00:14:13.519
says you get me so they just know that all of
00:14:13.519 --> 00:14:16.460
this stuff was being thrown at him but they didn't
00:14:16.460 --> 00:14:18.960
know if it was true enough to say that yeah we
00:14:18.960 --> 00:14:22.360
could put this down you know in black and white
00:14:22.360 --> 00:14:25.299
and solidify him as he did this or he did that
00:14:25.299 --> 00:14:29.679
they don't know so for now let's say even in
00:14:29.679 --> 00:14:34.460
today's time king today's time king to me there's
00:14:34.460 --> 00:14:38.879
this thing where anybody that like even those
00:14:38.879 --> 00:14:44.259
of this this time now that say you know you see
00:14:44.259 --> 00:14:46.580
i'm sorry to cut in you see the situation you
00:14:46.580 --> 00:14:49.509
see the situations with the pastors And I bring
00:14:49.509 --> 00:14:51.789
this up because, you know, the situation with
00:14:51.789 --> 00:14:55.529
the Drewski skit and him calling out the mega
00:14:55.529 --> 00:14:58.690
churches and the pastors and Martin Luther King
00:14:58.690 --> 00:15:02.230
being a pastor and saying, and these things,
00:15:02.429 --> 00:15:05.850
cause you know, social media, I think his business
00:15:05.850 --> 00:15:08.509
would have been more out there now more than
00:15:08.509 --> 00:15:11.669
ever than back then. If he was doing some stuff,
00:15:11.750 --> 00:15:14.190
cause you know, women are today, they kissing
00:15:14.190 --> 00:15:17.049
too. If they sleep with Martin, they're going
00:15:17.049 --> 00:15:19.200
to be on Instagram. They're going to be, you
00:15:19.200 --> 00:15:21.019
know what I'm saying? I mean, that's just the
00:15:21.019 --> 00:15:25.639
era. Yeah, the era. You look at the eras. I mean,
00:15:25.679 --> 00:15:30.039
that's what it is. I mean, but, you know, again,
00:15:30.419 --> 00:15:35.759
an alleged situation I can't go off of because
00:15:35.759 --> 00:15:40.539
allegedly somebody could have been lying, you
00:15:40.539 --> 00:15:44.759
know, and it's strange enough as it is. I think
00:15:44.759 --> 00:15:48.970
now time, today's time. You know, he probably
00:15:48.970 --> 00:15:50.509
would have had enough people, the right people
00:15:50.509 --> 00:15:54.309
in place to maybe catch some fraudulent situation
00:15:54.309 --> 00:15:57.230
going on in a different manner. He could have
00:15:57.230 --> 00:15:59.830
probably saw it coming. But in that time, you
00:15:59.830 --> 00:16:03.629
know, you think about it, you know, most of the
00:16:03.629 --> 00:16:06.190
Negroes at that time didn't have a platform.
00:16:06.330 --> 00:16:11.590
He was one of those people where the news and
00:16:11.590 --> 00:16:15.159
everything would come to his church. and basically
00:16:15.159 --> 00:16:17.940
give him a platform you know recording there's
00:16:17.940 --> 00:16:22.279
videos of him recorded preaching you know negroes
00:16:22.279 --> 00:16:24.360
couldn't afford that in their churches at that
00:16:24.360 --> 00:16:28.120
time but the news stations could but they knew
00:16:28.120 --> 00:16:30.440
all of this was going on and then they knew this
00:16:30.440 --> 00:16:33.519
man was making a movement not due to the case
00:16:33.519 --> 00:16:36.769
of you know, looking at his lifestyle, if it
00:16:36.769 --> 00:16:39.129
was a personal thing in his lifestyle, but the
00:16:39.129 --> 00:16:41.230
little situations that they were paying attention
00:16:41.230 --> 00:16:43.830
to, they, and this is something that I always
00:16:43.830 --> 00:16:48.669
hated being a pastor or being in a pastoral role
00:16:48.669 --> 00:16:51.529
puts you in a position where you have to be amongst
00:16:51.529 --> 00:16:54.830
people. You have to be a people person, right?
00:16:55.330 --> 00:16:58.590
People conniving is, I don't know what, you know,
00:16:58.610 --> 00:17:02.009
I've seen situations where it ain't even, it
00:17:02.009 --> 00:17:04.920
ain't even a pastor's fault. You know, I've seen
00:17:04.920 --> 00:17:08.619
situation where there was a conniving woman in
00:17:08.619 --> 00:17:11.839
the situation and she's out to seek and destroy
00:17:11.839 --> 00:17:15.480
a situation. It could it could have easily allegedly
00:17:15.480 --> 00:17:18.920
been that. I don't know. But at the time and
00:17:18.920 --> 00:17:22.420
all of this was going on back in the 60s, there
00:17:22.420 --> 00:17:26.019
is a different phase of. everything going on
00:17:26.019 --> 00:17:30.299
unlike now we we're technology driven world everybody
00:17:30.299 --> 00:17:32.980
got access everything front street yeah everybody
00:17:32.980 --> 00:17:35.900
everybody got access to the internet now to the
00:17:35.900 --> 00:17:39.079
world and it's like okay i mean it there there
00:17:39.079 --> 00:17:40.799
would have been different situations i think
00:17:40.799 --> 00:17:42.759
it's just different different situations with
00:17:42.759 --> 00:17:45.079
different folks but i still know that one thing
00:17:45.079 --> 00:17:49.859
still remains is i would never trust the fbi
00:17:49.859 --> 00:17:53.299
and what the fbi has presented especially and
00:17:53.299 --> 00:17:57.579
i bring these things up bro not to discredit
00:17:57.579 --> 00:18:01.339
his name not to discredit him i bring these things
00:18:01.339 --> 00:18:04.980
up for a reason the show for the the way that
00:18:04.980 --> 00:18:07.960
times have changed you know from back then to
00:18:07.960 --> 00:18:13.839
now for one for two like the morals the integrity
00:18:14.730 --> 00:18:19.109
like you know the belief the belief like you
00:18:19.109 --> 00:18:22.250
know we're so easily influenced now oh yeah more
00:18:22.250 --> 00:18:24.630
than back then i feel like a lot of people probably
00:18:24.630 --> 00:18:27.690
use common sense and thought about allegations
00:18:27.690 --> 00:18:30.809
back then now when you hear something you automatically
00:18:30.809 --> 00:18:34.450
90 percent of the time think it's true yeah like
00:18:34.450 --> 00:18:36.730
you know that's just how that's what we live
00:18:36.730 --> 00:18:39.730
off of what we hear most of us think you know
00:18:39.730 --> 00:18:42.029
because where our minds are so like you say social
00:18:42.029 --> 00:18:45.849
media driven and it's like robotic minds ai you
00:18:45.849 --> 00:18:51.130
know so i bring this up to say pretty much like
00:18:51.130 --> 00:18:55.450
with like will he have the same effect because
00:18:55.450 --> 00:18:58.529
like if this was exposed more because you know
00:18:58.529 --> 00:19:01.509
it will be exposed more now than i feel like
00:19:01.509 --> 00:19:04.950
it was then if it was a real situation yeah because
00:19:04.950 --> 00:19:08.450
you know Sad enough, we've got to the point where
00:19:08.450 --> 00:19:11.289
everything is just drama driven. Right. Right.
00:19:11.329 --> 00:19:14.789
It's got to have juicy. It has to have that juicy
00:19:14.789 --> 00:19:18.630
draw effect to where it's negative. Negative.
00:19:18.750 --> 00:19:21.569
As I said before, negatively driven. If it ain't
00:19:21.569 --> 00:19:24.589
negatively driven, it's not going to make sense
00:19:24.589 --> 00:19:26.549
right now. And that's, you know, and this is
00:19:26.549 --> 00:19:30.789
something I was considering for such a long time
00:19:30.789 --> 00:19:35.769
to, you know, the people that look at. you know,
00:19:35.789 --> 00:19:38.450
look at the history situation and even not even
00:19:38.450 --> 00:19:41.009
just saying history from a standpoint, or even
00:19:41.009 --> 00:19:43.069
from then I'm talking about maybe even history
00:19:43.069 --> 00:19:46.269
as a far, as far as like five days ago. Right.
00:19:47.009 --> 00:19:51.089
So you got people like, and I'm gonna point this
00:19:51.089 --> 00:19:54.829
out. You, you pointed out one situation and this
00:19:54.829 --> 00:19:57.190
is, this is, I'm gonna show you how the world
00:19:57.190 --> 00:20:01.210
thinks right now. America, especially you got
00:20:01.210 --> 00:20:06.019
Layla Edwards over there. making history right
00:20:06.019 --> 00:20:09.660
they they fighting for the gold medal thursday
00:20:09.660 --> 00:20:13.500
matter of fact so so so let's let's let's take
00:20:13.500 --> 00:20:18.259
the time to bring that in and say that's a very
00:20:18.259 --> 00:20:21.339
positive thing to talk about absolutely and hands
00:20:21.339 --> 00:20:27.119
down nobody can change this history that's being
00:20:27.119 --> 00:20:31.079
created right absolutely but watch how we don't
00:20:31.079 --> 00:20:35.569
even talk about it though Watch how news stations...
00:20:35.569 --> 00:20:37.630
They're digging to her past, something off the
00:20:37.630 --> 00:20:43.109
ice. Thank you. They're going to find a way to
00:20:43.109 --> 00:20:45.890
talk about something ignorant, some crime that's
00:20:45.890 --> 00:20:48.470
going on. Something from her past. That's how
00:20:48.470 --> 00:20:51.150
they do. Or not even talk about her at all. Talk
00:20:51.150 --> 00:20:52.890
about some other news that's going on in the
00:20:52.890 --> 00:20:56.430
world or in America that's bad. Negatively driven.
00:20:56.609 --> 00:20:59.910
Because the case, that's what... everybody sees
00:20:59.910 --> 00:21:02.569
is is the case of saying oh that that's there's
00:21:02.569 --> 00:21:04.670
nothing to talk no this is stuff to talk about
00:21:04.670 --> 00:21:08.990
we have history that's being created every moment
00:21:08.990 --> 00:21:12.950
when we drop a podcast that's history it ain't
00:21:12.950 --> 00:21:16.829
it ain't even a case of saying uh oh we we have
00:21:16.829 --> 00:21:21.509
we we have to have this uh golden you know shiny
00:21:21.509 --> 00:21:23.569
thing at the end of the road every time we hit
00:21:23.569 --> 00:21:27.059
a milestone that ain't even it firstly how many
00:21:27.059 --> 00:21:29.039
podcasts are still out here how many podcasts
00:21:29.039 --> 00:21:31.079
are still releasing how many podcasts are still
00:21:31.079 --> 00:21:34.319
doing anything anything actively trying to say
00:21:34.319 --> 00:21:35.980
that they're gonna do something at all or even
00:21:35.980 --> 00:21:38.960
just change the the narrative of anything and
00:21:38.960 --> 00:21:42.980
again as i said platforms are meant to be driven
00:21:42.980 --> 00:21:46.700
in a way where it can have longevity and every
00:21:46.700 --> 00:21:50.079
i looked at so many different podcasts that have
00:21:50.079 --> 00:21:54.519
failed Fell off like completely over the past
00:21:54.519 --> 00:21:57.380
two years. And these were podcasts that had,
00:21:57.460 --> 00:22:01.460
you know, 50, 60, 70 ,000, you know. followers
00:22:01.460 --> 00:22:04.880
ig wise and we're still here youtube wise but
00:22:04.880 --> 00:22:07.339
they don't have no website wise and this is the
00:22:07.339 --> 00:22:09.019
part where i was starting to pay attention to
00:22:09.019 --> 00:22:11.539
all these little details and what everybody else
00:22:11.539 --> 00:22:14.519
was doing and what and wasn't gonna have to do
00:22:14.519 --> 00:22:17.220
i don't have to go follow the trend to say that
00:22:17.220 --> 00:22:19.180
i'm gonna stick around just to say that's gonna
00:22:19.180 --> 00:22:20.799
cause me long it's not gonna cause longevity
00:22:20.799 --> 00:22:22.680
you know why because all the people that's getting
00:22:22.680 --> 00:22:24.140
in trouble they're gonna be locked up and gone
00:22:24.140 --> 00:22:29.309
guess what no more content no more content So
00:22:29.309 --> 00:22:31.509
for a lady, you know, and this is why I say,
00:22:31.589 --> 00:22:34.410
you know, and like you say, we feed off negativity.
00:22:35.049 --> 00:22:37.450
Unfortunately, you know, we feed off negativity
00:22:37.450 --> 00:22:41.950
and I guarantee you me talking about Martin's
00:22:41.950 --> 00:22:46.529
bad things will make a person go search him over
00:22:46.529 --> 00:22:49.410
talking about the million, the million March,
00:22:49.549 --> 00:22:52.250
the, you know, the marches and, you know, all
00:22:52.250 --> 00:22:54.769
the positive stuff he's done. Cause people love
00:22:54.769 --> 00:22:57.450
controversy. Love it. If you never heard of Martin,
00:22:57.930 --> 00:23:00.029
You could say something controversial and you
00:23:00.029 --> 00:23:04.089
go, oh, let me look at who's it. But it's like,
00:23:04.289 --> 00:23:06.769
that's what I'm saying. And to mix it in with
00:23:06.769 --> 00:23:08.829
the podcast, we could be talking about, like
00:23:08.829 --> 00:23:11.329
you say, black history. Yeah. Something positive.
00:23:11.509 --> 00:23:14.210
Yeah. Some history, some deep stuff with meaning
00:23:14.210 --> 00:23:18.390
and value. And people are overlooked that because
00:23:18.390 --> 00:23:21.869
it's not negative. It ain't fighting. It ain't
00:23:21.869 --> 00:23:25.500
in your face. It ain't. It ain't catchy. It ain't
00:23:25.500 --> 00:23:28.299
vulgar. It's not cursing. We're not, you know,
00:23:28.299 --> 00:23:31.259
we're not doing all the negativity. So it's like
00:23:31.259 --> 00:23:35.099
it, some, some people will sweep it under the
00:23:35.099 --> 00:23:38.359
rug, but the ones as well, they'll gravitate
00:23:38.359 --> 00:23:41.099
to it. The ones as well will gravitate to it.
00:23:41.160 --> 00:23:43.740
Yeah. And that, that's a, that's a, this is a
00:23:43.740 --> 00:23:49.960
thing where people don't have accessible means
00:23:49.960 --> 00:23:54.700
to. think on their own and have their own mindset
00:23:54.700 --> 00:23:58.180
to be strong enough to believe in something you
00:23:58.180 --> 00:24:01.619
know that that can go a long way and my thing
00:24:01.619 --> 00:24:07.279
is for the change to be real for it to be like
00:24:07.279 --> 00:24:11.740
you know a active situation all it takes is one
00:24:11.740 --> 00:24:16.460
person it don't take like a crowd you know you
00:24:16.460 --> 00:24:20.640
fix one person at a time It ain't saying you're
00:24:20.640 --> 00:24:23.339
the person that's fixing them. What a person
00:24:23.339 --> 00:24:26.000
gets from you, and if a person is around you,
00:24:26.059 --> 00:24:28.599
or if a person is gravitating to you, if a person
00:24:28.599 --> 00:24:31.420
is tapping into what you're doing, they're tapping
00:24:31.420 --> 00:24:33.259
into you for a reason. They're tapping into you
00:24:33.259 --> 00:24:36.480
for either your energy, or they're tapping into
00:24:36.480 --> 00:24:40.460
you for your knowledge. That's it. Energy and
00:24:40.460 --> 00:24:43.700
knowledge. I really doubt Quincy Murdoch would
00:24:43.700 --> 00:24:46.880
be hanging around here if I didn't have energy
00:24:46.880 --> 00:24:51.420
and knowledge. take energy that's the thing because
00:24:51.420 --> 00:24:53.900
i'm i'm all about energy like you say energy
00:24:53.900 --> 00:24:57.819
i'm all about energy and and vibes and and you
00:24:57.819 --> 00:25:00.660
know me bro if i can't if i can't kick it with
00:25:00.660 --> 00:25:03.440
you i ain't gonna be around you like i'm i'm
00:25:03.440 --> 00:25:05.599
really that type of person i'm a real dude and
00:25:05.599 --> 00:25:08.680
i know you real dude we got real energy so for
00:25:08.680 --> 00:25:11.519
anybody to think this is forcing uh they completely
00:25:11.519 --> 00:25:21.460
wrong this is never how individuals have their
00:25:21.460 --> 00:25:25.240
own way or have their own thing that they have
00:25:25.240 --> 00:25:28.700
period that you have to be this everywhere that
00:25:28.700 --> 00:25:32.619
you go. Like, it's not saying you might not do
00:25:32.619 --> 00:25:34.619
it. The Martin Luther King way might not do it.
00:25:34.779 --> 00:25:38.839
You, you have your own way. Everybody has their
00:25:38.839 --> 00:25:41.519
own way. And this is, this is, this is what I'm
00:25:41.519 --> 00:25:45.259
getting it for. It's like saying together, we,
00:25:45.400 --> 00:25:51.170
we wouldn't be. this at this at this level now
00:25:51.170 --> 00:25:55.690
if it wasn't for what people did not just martin
00:25:55.690 --> 00:25:58.890
not just malcolm as a collective effort you got
00:25:58.890 --> 00:26:02.769
rosa parks you got harriet tubman's you have
00:26:02.769 --> 00:26:05.750
the the the let's let's even come let's get a
00:26:05.750 --> 00:26:08.190
little bit more let's let's get more modern modern
00:26:08.190 --> 00:26:12.769
layla edwards you have these people who are all
00:26:12.769 --> 00:26:16.470
coming together for a collective effort you get
00:26:16.470 --> 00:26:19.700
what i'm saying We're making history collectively
00:26:19.700 --> 00:26:23.500
to the point where you got people like Charleston
00:26:23.500 --> 00:26:26.619
White that want to feel the way that he feels.
00:26:26.740 --> 00:26:31.319
So if the case of somebody asks him a question,
00:26:31.579 --> 00:26:35.039
he deflects automatically because he wants to
00:26:35.039 --> 00:26:37.180
untie himself from the black community altogether
00:26:37.180 --> 00:26:40.359
because the case of he's hurt. Let me tell you
00:26:40.359 --> 00:26:42.039
this, though. Let me tell you this, though. But
00:26:42.039 --> 00:26:45.000
he he he will down. He will say he don't care
00:26:45.000 --> 00:26:47.240
about black history. I'm going to show you how
00:26:47.240 --> 00:26:49.140
he contradicts himself. And if you don't believe
00:26:49.140 --> 00:26:51.740
me, go back and watch some of his interviews.
00:26:52.160 --> 00:26:54.759
He says he doesn't like the black culture and
00:26:54.759 --> 00:26:56.960
believe in the black culture and black history,
00:26:57.079 --> 00:26:59.819
but he will make a point that he's wearing black
00:26:59.819 --> 00:27:03.819
on clothing. Oh, this is all black on clothing.
00:27:03.940 --> 00:27:07.759
Okay. How can you not support black history,
00:27:07.839 --> 00:27:10.259
but your support quote unquote, you got black
00:27:10.259 --> 00:27:12.750
clothing on. Yep. You're supporting the black
00:27:12.750 --> 00:27:15.349
clothing. So I think a lot, I think what he does,
00:27:15.390 --> 00:27:17.349
a lot of stuff he do, he just talking to talk,
00:27:17.430 --> 00:27:21.009
man. I just think he just, he, he, he gets, he
00:27:21.009 --> 00:27:24.490
says so much. He forgets what he say. Yeah. It's
00:27:24.490 --> 00:27:26.609
a, it's a, you know, it's a clickbait. It's an
00:27:26.609 --> 00:27:30.130
internet type of thing for him. It's, it's, it's
00:27:30.130 --> 00:27:33.289
totally understood, you know, the, the, that
00:27:33.289 --> 00:27:37.670
it would, you know, ring like a bell, like it
00:27:37.670 --> 00:27:40.809
did. And it's nothing, nothing that gets what,
00:27:41.720 --> 00:27:45.859
Anybody that follows him in a sense. But to me,
00:27:45.859 --> 00:27:48.180
if you follow him, you're slightly empty in a
00:27:48.180 --> 00:27:50.799
sense. You need to open your minds. It's just
00:27:50.799 --> 00:27:53.259
because in case you're finding something that's
00:27:53.259 --> 00:27:55.140
funny, really. It ain't even a thing. I don't
00:27:55.140 --> 00:27:56.759
even think a lot of y 'all even take them serious.
00:27:57.059 --> 00:27:59.740
So it's just really just funny to y 'all. Can
00:27:59.740 --> 00:28:03.079
I say something? Because he grabbed my... He
00:28:03.079 --> 00:28:07.000
grabbed my... He was right. He grabbed my attention
00:28:07.000 --> 00:28:11.559
by his tactics and the way he talked. He grabbed
00:28:11.559 --> 00:28:14.519
my attention. But once you grab my attention,
00:28:14.819 --> 00:28:18.259
the thing with me, I'm going to listen to everything
00:28:18.259 --> 00:28:20.559
you say from then. I'm going to really listen
00:28:20.559 --> 00:28:22.740
to what you say. And I'm going to hold everything
00:28:22.740 --> 00:28:26.240
in accountability of what you're saying. And
00:28:26.240 --> 00:28:28.440
I'm going to take everything in. I'm not just
00:28:28.440 --> 00:28:30.480
going to be here for the last and the funds the
00:28:30.480 --> 00:28:32.980
whole time after that. I'm really going to listen
00:28:32.980 --> 00:28:36.259
to what you're saying. And it's going to click.
00:28:36.460 --> 00:28:40.089
And, you know, sooner or later. You say enough,
00:28:40.230 --> 00:28:43.369
I find out what type of person you are. You know
00:28:43.369 --> 00:28:46.230
what I'm saying? That's how I am. So sometimes
00:28:46.230 --> 00:28:48.990
when they grab your attention in, not saying,
00:28:49.049 --> 00:28:51.230
you know, people can love what they love or,
00:28:51.250 --> 00:28:54.369
you know, whatever. But I'm just saying, have
00:28:54.369 --> 00:28:58.269
a mind of your own also and think for yourself
00:28:58.269 --> 00:29:01.410
and listen to what these people saying. Take
00:29:01.410 --> 00:29:03.710
into account what these people saying and what
00:29:03.710 --> 00:29:07.029
they doing. You know what I'm saying? Like, don't
00:29:07.029 --> 00:29:09.910
just... be there for the last you know and i
00:29:09.910 --> 00:29:13.549
think that's what society is now we just want
00:29:13.549 --> 00:29:16.490
to hear funny stuff and we don't take nothing
00:29:16.490 --> 00:29:18.970
serious like you say and you see what what's
00:29:18.970 --> 00:29:21.490
going on with the world crash outside we speak
00:29:21.490 --> 00:29:26.809
on like like on the everyday thing it's like
00:29:26.809 --> 00:29:29.849
people are not serious grown -ups are not serious
00:29:29.849 --> 00:29:32.670
grown -ups are complaining more than the kids
00:29:32.670 --> 00:29:38.259
i'm sick of it like you know complaining Lazy.
00:29:38.259 --> 00:29:40.339
Don't want to do nothing. Like you said in one,
00:29:40.440 --> 00:29:44.519
like lazy, bro. Lazy. Like just being lazy, complaining.
00:29:45.420 --> 00:29:47.700
You are grown up and you're complaining more
00:29:47.700 --> 00:29:51.140
than the kids. These kids going to school and
00:29:51.140 --> 00:29:54.900
the teachers, you know, don't care. Most of them
00:29:54.900 --> 00:29:57.900
don't. The kids are acting crazy because they
00:29:57.900 --> 00:30:00.420
feel like nobody cares for them. So they acting
00:30:00.420 --> 00:30:03.960
up. it's just a repeated thing man i'm sorry
00:30:03.960 --> 00:30:06.500
i went that into that that but we were talking
00:30:06.500 --> 00:30:10.400
about that but it's just it's frustrating you
00:30:10.400 --> 00:30:14.180
know like as a culture as people in general this
00:30:14.180 --> 00:30:18.279
ain't even just black just people white i see
00:30:18.279 --> 00:30:22.160
this a lot with every race i'm tired i see a
00:30:22.160 --> 00:30:25.019
lot of complaining man it's time to shut up and
00:30:25.019 --> 00:30:27.279
put up you know that's the only way we gonna
00:30:27.279 --> 00:30:31.099
get from the situations we're in It's to make
00:30:31.099 --> 00:30:34.180
a change and put that work in. If you don't like
00:30:34.180 --> 00:30:37.779
where you at, do something about it. Simple as
00:30:37.779 --> 00:30:41.799
that. That's the tactic, right? That's the solution.
00:30:42.579 --> 00:30:47.839
That's the remedy. That's the next level up for
00:30:47.839 --> 00:30:51.019
some, and that's the final level for a lot, for
00:30:51.019 --> 00:30:55.480
a lot of us. If you don't take the action, and
00:30:55.480 --> 00:30:59.769
this is something I looked into, like, Top of
00:30:59.769 --> 00:31:01.990
last year. I think it was probably about this
00:31:01.990 --> 00:31:03.829
time last year, right before the anniversary
00:31:03.829 --> 00:31:09.849
time. And I saw like one thing I saw was that
00:31:09.849 --> 00:31:16.329
people have a lot to do with nothing. And when
00:31:16.329 --> 00:31:20.430
I mean they have a lot to do, meaning they'll
00:31:20.430 --> 00:31:24.829
come up with a lot of tactics, but never do anything
00:31:24.829 --> 00:31:30.890
about it. You will have a mindset to say, yeah,
00:31:30.930 --> 00:31:32.150
I'm going to start this. I'm going to do this.
00:31:32.190 --> 00:31:34.170
I'm going to make this happen. And it never,
00:31:34.269 --> 00:31:39.130
ever, ever come to fruition at all. And this
00:31:39.130 --> 00:31:41.730
is something that I put in my mind. And I say
00:31:41.730 --> 00:31:45.490
this to you, too. Work ethic and mindset was
00:31:45.490 --> 00:31:47.990
going to be totally different moving forward.
00:31:48.349 --> 00:31:52.950
The reason being. is these platforms are taking
00:31:52.950 --> 00:31:56.589
way too lightly because everybody is so stuck
00:31:56.589 --> 00:31:58.730
in that trend and they ain't even just saying
00:31:58.730 --> 00:32:00.950
the podcast people it's just saying people period
00:32:00.950 --> 00:32:03.609
everybody sees what they see online and feel
00:32:03.609 --> 00:32:06.089
like yeah let's do that and the thing is is like
00:32:06.089 --> 00:32:08.470
yeah let's get on tiktok and we all gonna do
00:32:08.470 --> 00:32:11.569
this tiktok challenge right tiktok is i'm sick
00:32:11.569 --> 00:32:14.289
of that bro and the challenge the challenges
00:32:14.289 --> 00:32:17.759
of life right now nobody wants to do a challenge
00:32:17.759 --> 00:32:21.279
of okay let's help fix the city of chicago let's
00:32:21.279 --> 00:32:25.180
help fix the the the city of uh of uh let's say
00:32:25.180 --> 00:32:28.240
charlie or like we are here dancing we are here
00:32:28.240 --> 00:32:31.000
dancing yeah and it's people actually getting
00:32:31.000 --> 00:32:33.240
killed in the streets thank you you know what
00:32:33.240 --> 00:32:35.740
i'm saying like we are here like that that's
00:32:35.740 --> 00:32:38.400
what i be trying to understand like when do we
00:32:38.400 --> 00:32:41.400
take life serious this never and my thing of
00:32:41.400 --> 00:32:44.019
it is i think a lot of them haven't had to grow
00:32:44.019 --> 00:32:47.549
up yet They haven't. They still got mommy, daddy.
00:32:48.109 --> 00:32:53.029
They still rely on mommy and daddy. They ain't
00:32:53.029 --> 00:32:56.230
got no real responsibilities. They got no care
00:32:56.230 --> 00:32:58.990
in the world. But once you start having responsibilities,
00:32:59.670 --> 00:33:02.569
I think your whole attitude will change then,
00:33:02.690 --> 00:33:05.049
I feel. Definitely. Once you're hit with life,
00:33:05.690 --> 00:33:10.109
I think some people need a harsh reality, a life,
00:33:10.230 --> 00:33:13.859
real life, man. It ain't all about a game and
00:33:13.859 --> 00:33:16.400
jokes, man. You know, it's real life going on
00:33:16.400 --> 00:33:21.079
out here. And we take it lightly. And I think
00:33:21.079 --> 00:33:24.599
that's why a lot of countries, we talked about
00:33:24.599 --> 00:33:27.720
this, you know, America, a lot of countries be
00:33:27.720 --> 00:33:29.519
having the upper hand on us, though, because
00:33:29.519 --> 00:33:33.779
they know the severity of stuff. You see, they
00:33:33.779 --> 00:33:36.980
take things serious. While we over here playing
00:33:36.980 --> 00:33:40.460
and, like you say, dancing on TikTok and crashing
00:33:40.460 --> 00:33:43.910
out, you know. Like, all these distractions,
00:33:44.269 --> 00:33:47.089
we easy to get distracted, and it's easy for
00:33:47.089 --> 00:33:49.230
the enemy to just come on and slide on in and
00:33:49.230 --> 00:33:51.609
take us out because we don't even see it coming.
00:33:52.130 --> 00:33:57.329
We ain't focused on the main thing. We focus
00:33:57.329 --> 00:34:00.549
on the BS, you know, the non -important stuff.
00:34:00.750 --> 00:34:03.609
Don't matter. And for those that don't understand
00:34:03.609 --> 00:34:10.030
that, this is all I've been saying for years.
00:34:11.660 --> 00:34:14.800
with everything and especially everything that
00:34:14.800 --> 00:34:18.360
I've seen change as far as on the internet. That's
00:34:18.360 --> 00:34:20.619
one thing I wish that a lot of us would stop
00:34:20.619 --> 00:34:24.960
trying to just be copycats. It's very much of
00:34:24.960 --> 00:34:28.050
it. It's still a world without copycats. you
00:34:28.050 --> 00:34:30.489
know it's still the world it'd be okay if you're
00:34:30.489 --> 00:34:32.429
not like if you don't look exactly like that
00:34:32.429 --> 00:34:34.489
person or you don't dance exactly if you don't
00:34:34.489 --> 00:34:36.670
dance exactly like that person or wear the exact
00:34:36.670 --> 00:34:40.190
shoes clothes you know it's okay you don't have
00:34:40.190 --> 00:34:43.230
to be a trend you still can stand on your own
00:34:43.230 --> 00:34:47.150
and it still go somewhere trust me it works and
00:34:47.150 --> 00:34:49.530
people it's okay to love something different
00:34:49.530 --> 00:34:52.269
the ones that's consumed taking this stuff in
00:34:52.269 --> 00:34:56.409
it's okay to love different You know, you can
00:34:56.409 --> 00:34:58.550
love different. You ain't got to pick and choose
00:34:58.550 --> 00:35:00.889
what your friend like. You know what I'm saying?
00:35:01.250 --> 00:35:04.090
Try something new. Maybe that's probably what
00:35:04.090 --> 00:35:07.289
it is. A lot of y 'all just trying to force things
00:35:07.289 --> 00:35:10.469
and trying to fit in. Stand out sometime. Try
00:35:10.469 --> 00:35:12.809
something new. That's probably why you single.
00:35:12.849 --> 00:35:14.489
You ain't found that man. You ain't found that
00:35:14.489 --> 00:35:16.510
woman because you looking in the wrong direction.
00:35:16.889 --> 00:35:19.369
Why you ain't find that right podcast? Because
00:35:19.369 --> 00:35:24.739
you're so trendy going with the trend. and you
00:35:24.739 --> 00:35:27.639
you ain't find something you really like that's
00:35:27.639 --> 00:35:30.380
what it's about follow your own heart you know
00:35:30.380 --> 00:35:32.599
i just want to say that to the consumers like
00:35:32.599 --> 00:35:36.260
in all aspects of life you know follow your heart
00:35:36.260 --> 00:35:39.219
stop trying to follow what everybody else won't
00:35:39.219 --> 00:35:46.780
and do you hey we could do this all night people
00:35:46.780 --> 00:35:51.329
you know it's another day of coming yeah until
00:35:51.329 --> 00:35:53.829
the next time we do get up just think about a
00:35:53.829 --> 00:35:56.630
lot of stuff that you know can be done differently
00:35:56.630 --> 00:36:00.110
i mean history again history doesn't repeat itself
00:36:00.110 --> 00:36:04.369
in some ways some instances it's there those
00:36:04.369 --> 00:36:08.769
points and places where the next and great you
00:36:08.769 --> 00:36:11.269
know person of history that is because you know
00:36:11.269 --> 00:36:14.849
us of our color of our nature you know we hope
00:36:14.849 --> 00:36:17.599
that they carry on a good torch And remember,
00:36:17.780 --> 00:36:22.179
always watch your actions. Always look for things
00:36:22.179 --> 00:36:25.239
that, you know, aren't ordinary that are around
00:36:25.239 --> 00:36:27.880
you. You know, don't attach yourself to everything.
00:36:28.000 --> 00:36:30.559
Everything that glitters isn't gold. And always
00:36:30.559 --> 00:36:33.480
remember that, you know, you have the final say
00:36:33.480 --> 00:36:35.860
-so of everything that you tie yourself to. You
00:36:35.860 --> 00:36:38.940
have that say -so. So remember to tie yourself
00:36:38.940 --> 00:36:41.840
into things that are going to elevate you and
00:36:41.840 --> 00:36:45.920

00:37:19.059 --> 00:37:21.079
try to stay happy every day because there's always
00:37:21.079 --> 00:37:22.920
a bright light at the end of that tunnel because
00:37:22.920 --> 00:37:24.900
guess what there's gonna be a moment in that
00:37:24.900 --> 00:37:27.019
day that something is gonna go right so keep
00:37:27.019 --> 00:37:29.280
a positive mindset anything you gotta say bruh
00:37:29.280 --> 00:37:33.199
before we jump yeah and always remember you are
00:37:33.199 --> 00:37:37.570
important and you play a huge role In this world
00:37:37.570 --> 00:37:40.630
that we live in, you might not be as big or have
00:37:40.630 --> 00:37:42.869
a bigger name than this person or that person,
00:37:42.929 --> 00:37:45.710
but we are a somebody. Everybody is somebody.
00:37:46.030 --> 00:37:49.849
So never feel like that you're not doing enough
00:37:49.849 --> 00:37:53.210
or you can't change, be part of the change that
00:37:53.210 --> 00:37:56.070
will help the world. I always know that you are
00:37:56.070 --> 00:37:58.389
important and all it takes, like my bro just
00:37:58.389 --> 00:38:01.550
said, all it takes is that one person. You might
00:38:01.550 --> 00:38:05.769
be that one person. So make it happen. But love,
00:38:05.849 --> 00:38:07.070
man. That's all I gotta say.
